Online therapy from Palmones, near Sotogrande and Gibraltar
Online therapy allows you to start or continue psychological support from a private place, with the same clinical care as a face-to-face session and the flexibility to connect from home, work or while travelling.
We provide online therapy from Ocnos Psychology Clinic, our physical clinic in Palmones, near Algeciras, Sotogrande and Gibraltar.
Online therapy is not a lesser version of face-to-face therapy
When it is provided by a qualified professional, with a careful initial assessment and a clear therapeutic frame, online therapy can be a practical and clinically useful way to receive psychological support.
At Ocnos Psychology Clinic, we do not treat video-call therapy as an improvised solution. We understand it as a structured form of clinical care that can support continuity, reduce access barriers and help people who cannot easily travel to the clinic.
It may be especially useful if you live outside Palmones, have a demanding schedule, travel frequently, live in Gibraltar or another country, prefer to speak from a familiar environment or want to combine face-to-face and online sessions depending on your situation.
Hybrid therapy: if you live in Campo de Gibraltar, you can alternate face-to-face sessions at our clinic in Palmones with online sessions when your schedule, travel or personal circumstances require it.
Many of our services can be provided online or combined with face-to-face sessions
Online therapy can be adapted to different reasons for seeking help. In some cases, especially in psychological assessment or neuropsychology, we assess whether the full process can be carried out online or whether part of it should be face to face.
A real team, a real clinic and a carefully held therapeutic process
We are not an anonymous platform for rushed sessions. Ocnos Psychology Clinic is a health psychology clinic with a physical base in Palmones, registered professionals, verifiable profiles and a way of working focused on understanding each case carefully.
Continuity
You can keep the process going when you travel, your schedule changes or you cannot come to the clinic.
Convenience
You only need a device with a camera, a stable connection and a private space where you can speak calmly.
Clinical closeness
The online session still includes therapeutic relationship, assessment, goals and professional follow-up.
Flexibility
It can be combined with face-to-face therapy, especially if you live in Algeciras, Los Barrios, Sotogrande or Gibraltar.
A simple process before, during and after the session
We want the technical part to be as simple as possible, so you can focus on what matters: speaking about what is happening and starting to work on it with professional support.
Booking
You book through the website, by WhatsApp or by phone. We can guide you if you are unsure which professional or service fits best.
Confirmation
You receive the information you need to connect to your online session at the agreed time.
Session
You connect from a private place. The session follows a clinical structure similar to face-to-face therapy.
Follow-up
We define goals, review progress and adjust the therapeutic plan according to your evolution.
Is online therapy suitable for every situation?
Online therapy can be very useful, but it is not always the most appropriate format. Before starting, and during the first sessions, we assess your clinical situation, your needs and the level of safety around you.
It can fit well for anxiety, mild or moderate depression, OCD, affirmative therapy, couples therapy, sex therapy, emotional regulation difficulties, psychological support, family guidance and therapeutic follow-up.
It may be a good option
When you need continuity, privacy, schedule flexibility or you live outside Palmones and want to work with a stable clinical team.
When online therapy is not enough
If there is immediate risk, thoughts of harming yourself, an intense crisis, severe substance use, significant decompensation or an urgent situation, call 112 or go to emergency services.

A physical clinic in Palmones behind your online therapy
Online therapy allows you to connect from where you are, but Ocnos is not a service without a location or visible team. Our clinic is in Palmones, in Edificio Azabache, with private consultation rooms and face-to-face care for people who want or need to combine formats.
Online support for Palmones, Campo de Gibraltar, Spain and people living abroad
From our clinic in Palmones, we provide online therapy for people living in Algeciras, Los Barrios, La Línea de la Concepción, San Roque, Sotogrande, Gibraltar and other areas. It may also be an option for people who have moved away, students, workers with difficult schedules or people living abroad who want therapy in English or Spanish.
When distance makes it difficult to come to the clinic, the online format can help maintain continuity and prevent psychological support from depending only on the ability to travel.
You can also come in person
If you are near Campo de Gibraltar, you can combine online therapy with face-to-face sessions at our clinic in Palmones. This flexibility can help maintain therapy even during complicated weeks.

Frequently asked questions about online therapy
Is online therapy the same as face-to-face therapy?
Online therapy keeps a similar clinical structure to face-to-face therapy: assessment, goals, intervention and follow-up. The main difference is the channel. In many cases it can be an appropriate option, although each situation should be assessed.
What do I need for online therapy?
You need a device with camera and microphone, a stable internet connection and a private place where you can speak calmly. If you share your home, headphones may help you feel more private.
How much does an online session cost?
An individual online session costs €70 and lasts 60 minutes. An online couples session costs €110 and lasts 90 minutes.
Can I combine online and face-to-face sessions?
Yes. If you live in Campo de Gibraltar or can come to Palmones occasionally, you can combine face-to-face and online sessions depending on your situation, availability and the clinical criteria of the process.
Can all services be provided online?
Many services can be provided online, including anxiety, depression, OCD, affirmative therapy, sex therapy, couples therapy and psychological follow-up. In psychological assessment, neuropsychology or some specific evaluations, we review whether the online format is sufficient or whether a face-to-face part is advisable.
Is online therapy appropriate if I am in crisis?
If there is immediate risk, thoughts of harming yourself, a feeling that you cannot keep yourself safe or risk to another person, the priority is to call 112 or go to emergency services. Online therapy is not a replacement for urgent care.
Can I have online therapy if I live in Gibraltar or outside Spain?
Yes, as long as the format is suitable for your situation and we can organise the time. We offer therapy in English and Spanish depending on professional availability.
